 How did the studio come about?
In 1918, the Warner Bros. Opened their first studio on Sunset boulevard in Hollywood, California. They had originally owned a film distributing company in 1912. The brothers wanted to build their business. Two brothers, Sam and Jack, produced the pictures while, Harry and Albert handled finance.  
· Where are they based (headquarters) do they have studios anywhere else in the world  
Their Headquarters are in Hollywood in Los Angeles California, they have studios in various locations including: Watford, Leavesden and California. 
· Who owns the company? Do they own anything else as well? If so, how would this help the studio  
AT&T own the company. (they are a phone network company). They can get unlimited calls for actors and production workers.  

· How long has it been running for?  
Over 100 years now, this means that they are certainly experienced in the field of film production. 
· What are the institutions biggest box office successes (Give a top 5)?  
  • The Matrix Reloaded (2003) 
  • Gravity (2013) 
  • Man of Steel (2013) 
  • The Hangover Part II (2011) 
  • I Am Legend (2007) 
 
· What was the budget of the studios top 3 highest grossing films last year? 
  1. A Star is born = $36,000,000 
  1. Aquaman = $160,000,000 
  1. Crazy Rich Asians = $30,000,000             
Do they work with the same actors? 
Yes, they do, especially for franchises. For example, Christian Bale starred as Batman in the ‘Dark Knight’ trilogy. However, they switched it up and then used Ben Affleck as the Batman for Justice league and Dawn of Justice and have now announced Robert Pattinson as the newest edition to the batman actors.  

Any films in pre-productions? 
Various films in Pre-production include: Suicide Squad, Tom and Jerry, Sherlock Holmes 3, The Batman and Elvis Presley Biopic.
